We are all very excited about this year's rally, for many reasons.  Check back to this page now and then and check for any updates to what we are planning, or just news pertaining to the rally, in general.  If you have a PT Cruiser, or know anyone who does, tell them they don't want to miss this event! 

 

The Wizard is Coming

Terry McConnell, also known as the Wizard, will once again be at our event!  He was at our 2007 event, right after he got married, and cars were lined up to get his attention.  The time is now to start thinking of what you can have the Wizard do for  your PT!

For those of you who don't remember the Wizard, he is more than just a pinstriper, he is an artist and a genuine car and bike enthusiast.  He says he's been drawing all his life, and doing custom art work on cars, trucks, and bikes for the past 46 years..  Believe it or not, he first got paid for his artistic touch to a car when he was only 11 years old!  His dad was always customizing old trucks and every time the pinstriper would come to do their thing, the Wizard always hung around them, watching them work and taking it all in.  One time, the pinstriper gave Terry a tailgate and told him "you paint this".  When Terry finished, the pinstriper told him to sign it, and asked him his name.  When the pinstriper heard him say that Terry was his name, he told him to sign it 'The Wiz Kid'.  The pinstriper also told him to put some little feet prints at the bottom, since he was just a little cuss.  That's how Terry became the Wizard, and you can still see those little feet under his signature on every design he finishes.
