A couple of the Club members braved the elements to attend the Northwest Arkansas Mustang Club's 16th Annual Charity Car Show in Lowell on June 23.  It rained almost the entire day, which gave us a lot of idle time, but there was still a good car turn out, and Mike King's SSR came away with a 1st Place plaque in the Modified Trucks - Mild class, and Anita Parks took home a 1st place plaque in the 1996 - Present class!!  There were a lot of auctions (of merchandise, not cars) to raise money for their charity.  They even auctioned off a Ford Shelby model car, personally autographed by Carroll Shelby, for $185!

Here are a few soggy shots of the cars that were present in the show.  We were all thinking 'only the die-hard car nuts would be here on a day like this' as we huddled under the tents as the thunder rolled and the wind blew the rain inside.  All in all, a good day to be a car nut!
