Spring is in the air!!!  At least until it snows tomorrow.

What crazy weather we have been having in beautiful Northwest Arkansas!  70 degrees on the weekend, snow on Monday night!  Spring is on it's way, but I think it's taking the scenic route this year.

We are beginning to gear up on the planning of this year's Eureka Springs event, and we are still hoping for no rain, even this is one of the 'other' years, and we all know it rains every other year during the Eureka Springs event.  If you attended last year's event, make sure you bring the rain poncho that was in your goodie bag to this year's event!  We are seeing more and more registrations filter in every day, and we are all starting to get more and more anxious for May to arrive. 

We found out, at our last Club meeting, that Jake Benton has enlisted in the service and will be going off to boot camp soon.  Everyone please keep Jake and his beautiful family in your prayers as he takes on this responsibility.  We'll try to keep everyone posted on his whereabouts and how he and Lucy and Ailani are doing, so keep checking in.

Our Club president, Bill Runyan, celebrated the big five-oh a couple of weeks ago.  I'll post the pictures on the site soon.  Be sure to ask him about his speed cane!
